Reports FAQ
Common questions on reports and exports.
Which reports are included on the Free plan?
The home dashboard — cash collected, money owed, overdue, collection rate — is on every plan. Cash projection, P&L, AR aging, revenue trends, sales tax, customer lifetime value, repeat rate, estimate conversion, top customers, and Excel export are on Pro.
Can I export to Excel or CSV?
Yes. Excel (.xlsx) export is available for invoices, estimates, clients, payments, and expenses. The files are styled and date-filterable.
Does the P&L include expenses I haven't paid yet?
No. P&L uses expenses you've logged with a date — the standard cash-basis view most tradespeople file on. Mark reimbursable expenses and they bill back via the customer's next invoice.
Does the tax summary handle multiple tax rates?
Yes. The tax summary groups sales tax collected by rate — perfect when you work across county or state lines.
Can I see profit per job?
Link an expense to a specific invoice when you log it and the app tracks expenses per job. Pair with the client revenue report to see which customers actually pay and which jobs actually make you money.
Do refunds get double-counted?
No. Refunds are tracked alongside payments but filtered out of revenue totals, so your dashboard never double-counts a refunded transaction.
